We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Derrick Waters, who was born on March 2, 1967, in Chicago, IL. He peacefully left this world on November 13, 2022.

Derrick was the beloved son of Charles and Joyce Waters. He was a loving father to his seven children: Senequa Barnes, Lavelle Waters (spouse Amy Locke), Constance Kimble, Deangelo Waters (spouse Jennetta Waters), Derrick Waters (spouse Ashley Waters), Janae Hafley (spouse Eric Hafley), and Brieena Waters. He also leaves behind several grandchildren, whose names will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew them.

Derrick had a passion for working on cars, spending time with family and friends, fishing, cooking, playing pool, and watching cartoons and movies.

He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and savior at a young age and had a strong and faithful bond with the Lord at his end. He will always be remembered for his warm smile, kind heart, and unwavering love for his family.

May his soul rest in peace, and may his memory live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
