It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Derrick Hart, beloved son of Essie Moore and Latanya Hart, on May 4th, 2024.

Derrick was born on May 31st, 1992 in Memphis, Tennessee, where he spent his days making those around him laugh with his quirky sense of humor.

Despite his untimely departure, Derrick leaves behind a legacy that includes his son, Derrick Jr., whom he loved more than life itself.

Derrick will be remembered for his infectious laughter, his love of practical jokes, and his unapologetically unique style.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that you raise a glass in Derrick's honor and share a funny memory in his honor.
