ROSS, DeSales HelenDeSales Helen Ross, 94, of Delray Beach, passed away at home surrounded by her devoted family on November 9, 2016. DeSales was born on November 25, 1922 in Dunmore, Pennsylvania. She retired from CIGNA in 1990 and moved from Havertown, Pennsylvania to Delray Beach. DeSales was the daughter of the late Thomas Good and Helen (Howard) Good. She was an active member of Saint Vincent Ferrer Parish for 26 years and she served on several ministries including the Eucharistic Ministry and served as the president of the Rosary Altar Society. She is survived by her four sons Thomas (Barbara) of Keystone Heights, Florida; Michael (Nan) of Fernie, British Columbia, David (Stephanie) and John (Alice) of Delray Beach, daughter, Mary, (Thomas), of Downingtown Pennsylvania and daughter-in-law, Pollie Ross of Havertown, Pennsylvania. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren that she loved dearly. She was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Rodger, of Delray Beach, youngest son, James of Boynton Beach and her sister, Mary McMullan of Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania. Her strength of character and fervent love of God sustained her and inspired everyone who knew her. All those who knew and loved her, grieve the loss of this remarkably strong and loving woman. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 from 9:30AM to 10:30AM at Lorne & Sons Funeral Home, 745 N.E. 6th Ave., Delray Beach, FL 33483, with a funeral mass after at 11:00AM at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church, 840 George Bush Blvd., Delray Beach, FL 33483. Burial will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery, 10941 Southern Blvd., Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411.
