We lost our beautiful mother, Desiree Annè Paris, unexpectedly on May 31st, 2024. While she has been reunited with her mother; Judith Annè Paris, brother; Robert “Bobby” Paris, her husband; Donald Stinson Alfreds the 2nd, and her son; Scottie Rawson Alfreds, the ones she left behind are all trying to cope with her loss. Earth side, she has left behind her 9 children; Donald Alfreds, Amanda Alfreds, Nicole Alfreds, Steven Alfreds, Shawn Alfreds, Anthony Alfreds, Jessica Scott, Andrew Alfreds, Ashley Alfreds and 1 stepdaughter; Cassandra McAvey.
Although she was a great mother, nothing touched on her ability to be a great grandmother. She was loved by her numerous grandchildren, and she will be always remembered for the loving and caring nana she was.
Desiree was born on July 30th, 1969 and grew up in Worcester, MA. This is where she met the love of her life, Big Don, at 17 years old, before moving to Portland, ME, having 10 children and spending the next 27 years together.
She eventually moved to Westbrook after the passing of her husband, to be taken care of by her family, more specifically her daughter and best friend, Nicole.
More often called “Dez,” she was known for her obsession of tiny things, reading, and her love for the show “Survivor.” She was always immensely proud of her children and let them know daily how much she loved them. She will be fiercely missed by many.
If you would like to offer condolences or show your support, the family will be having a beautiful service for Dez, on Friday, June 21st at 5:30pm at the American Legion in Westbrook, Maine.
