It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Desiree Smith, a devoted veterinary assistant and compassionate volunteer at Soldier's Angels. She left us on Tuesday, October 15th, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and support.

Desiree was a loving sister and a proud mother to her daughter, Kelly. She is survived by her nephew, C.J., nieces Jacqueline and Carla, as well as her brothers Clayton, Christopher, and Stephan. Desiree had a remarkable passion for helping others, evident in her care for animals and her unwavering commitment to her volunteer efforts. Her warm smile and big heart touched the lives of many and will be profoundly missed.

As we remember her, we celebrate her life and the positive impact she made in our community. A memorial service will be held in her honor, with details to be announced. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Soldier's Angels in her memory.
