Desmond Mattis, 76, of Kingston, Jamaica, passed on August 18, 2023 in his home in NJ. He was born on April 22,1947. Survived by his children Oswald Mattis, Beverly Mc Donald, Jennifer  Mattis, and his grandchildren, Auvil Mattis, Kemari Mattis, O’neil Mc Donald, and Michael Mattis. Desmond who was originally a citizen of Jamaica’s capital “Kingston”, migrated to the USA in 1978 at the age of 31 seeking a better life for himself and family. Desmond who was nicknamed Dez by family members was a hard worker, loving, family oriented, funny, and full of life. He will live on in our hearts and memories. Until we meet again.
