Detrice Dyanne Wright was born to Arliss Elisson in Mississppi on May 11, 1958. She moved to Los Angeles, California at a younge age with her family.

Detrice had many jobs but was best known working for herself, starting small buisnesses and doing arts and crafts. Detrice was a fun spotaneous woman that loved her family. She was so loving that she was known as "Momma Dee" not grandma or auntie to anyone. She was a caring mother and faithful grandma. She was loving, real, and known for being outspoken. She enjoyed camping, any family activities, and music.

Momma Dee left to be with the Lord on June 23, 2017 in Fresno, California. Momma Dee leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Larry Wilson, three children: Tyrran and Mishelle Burrell, and LaRay Wilson; nine grandchildren: Dijon Buchanan, Daja Burrell, Tyra and Taylor Burrell, Raycheal Ray and Rayshawn Wilson; and her twin grandsons, Dereon and Demarco Burrell. Through them she will always be remembered, loved, and cherished.
