Dever (DENNY) L. Melton III, 57 of Roebuck, SC passed away April 26, 2018, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Denny was born November 16, 1960, in Spartanburg SC to Barbara J. and Dever L. Melton, Jr.  He graduated from Dorman High School in 1979 and worked at Michelin Tire for 21 years.  Denny loved his family, loved to watch movies, sports and playing basketball. He also loved to joke, laugh, eat pizza and drink sweet iced tea. Denny was a loving father, grandfather, uncle, and friend to all.

Denny is survived by his father, Dever L. Melton, Jr., a sister & brother-in-law - Tracie (Melton) & Johnny Crotts, a daughter - Ashley Nicole Pitts and a son - Colby Tyler Melton, daughter in-law - Mandy Michalove Melton and many loving grandchildren, nieces & nephews (Hannah, Lexi, Malakhi, Mallory, Rhylee, Lexi, Will, Madison, Christian, Breanna & Sonia, Kyle & Kameron), other special relatives and friends.  

He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Jennings Melton, and grandmother, Elizabeth Jennings.

A private time of gathering will be held in memory of Denny at an undisclosed location where family members and close friends will get together to celebrate Denny's life and will plant a tree in his memory.
