Dexter Kyle HillDexter Kyle Hill, 31, passed away at home March 25, 2016. He was born in Pocatello, Idaho on May 17, 1984, the son of Doug and Natalie Hill. He graduated from Highland high school where he lettered in football, basketball and baseball, and was the first team all-state quarterback. Dexter went on to play collegiate football at Scottsdale CC where he was the All-JuCo Offensive Player of the Year, and finished at Dixie State University. Following his football career, Dexter worked in several capacities in the construction industry, where he was extremely good at operating machinery. He had a love for the outdoors, specifically motorcycling, camping, golfing, hunting, snowmobiling, and horseback riding. Dexter took advantage of every opportunity he could to be outside, and most often engaged in these activities with his family members. Dexter's love for God mirrored his love for his family, especially his daughter, Brielle, who was born on August, 25, 2015. The last week of his life was spent surrounded by his siblings and parents, where he was able to give his family a final glimpse of his greatest characteristics. Among these, were his wonderful sense of humor and wit, his tender heart, his kindness toward others, and his contagious smile. Most of all, Dexter will be remembered for his loyalty and his unique ability to connect with others.Dexter was the second of four children, and was loved and adored by each of his siblings, including: Jordan (and wife Megan), Celeste (and husband Joe), and Taysom (and wife Emily). He was dearly loved by his nieces and nephews, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death and welcomed by his two grandmothers, Ilene Harris and Jean Hill; as well as his uncle, Craig Hill.A viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 from 6-8 pm at Colonial Funeral Home 2005 S. 4th Ave, Pocatello, Idaho 83201, 208-233-1500.Funeral services will be on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at 11 am at the LDS Tyhee Stake Center, 12146 Tyhee Road, Pocatello, ID 83202, with a viewing from 9:30-10:30 am prior to services.
