It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Diane Doman, of Keyser, West Virginia on April 22, 2023. She was born on January 1, 1950, in Keyser, West Virginia, and was 73 years old at the time of her passing.
Diane was a lifelong resident of Keyser, and was known and loved by many in the community. She attended Keyser High School, where she was an active member of the school's drama club, and later went on to work as a teacher's aide at the local elementary school.
Diane was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and her family meant the world to her. She was married to her loving husband, John Doman, for 50 years, and together they raised four children: David, Sarah, Michael, and Lisa. Diane was also a proud grandmother to nine grandchildren, who brought her immeasurable joy and happiness.
Diane was a kind-hearted, selfless person who always put others before herself. She was deeply involved in her community and volunteered her time with various organizations, including the local food bank and the Keyser Women's Club. She was also a passionate advocate for animal welfare and spent countless hours volunteering at the local animal shelter.
Diane was an avid gardener and spent countless hours tending to her beautiful flower garden. She was also an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed making clothes and quilts for her family and friends.
Diane will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind her husband, children, grandchildren, and many beloved friends and family members.
A memorial service will be held in Diane's honor at the Keyser Baptist Church on April 30, 2023, at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Diane's memory to the Keyser Food Bank or the Mineral County Animal Shelter.
