COVINGTON – Diane F. Kelley, 75, of Covington, died at 12:26 a.m. on Monday Dec. 5, 2016, in her residence. She was born on July 14, 1941, to James and Betty (Davidson) Dyke. On Nov. 6, 1964, she married Carl (K.P.) Kelley.

Diane is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law: Sherry Smith, Frankfort, KY, and Charlene and Scott Abernathy, Covington, OH; one sister and brother-in-law: Patricia and Larry Herron, Piqua; two brothers and sister-in-law: James and Esther Dyke, New Carlisle, and Terry Dyke, Pensacola, FL; four grandchildren: Josh Hitchcock, Covington, OH, Chad Kelley, Pleasant Hill, OH, Diana Smith, Frankfort, KY, Harley Smith, Frankfort, KY; and eight great-grandchildren: Aiden Kelley, Tryston Kelley, Hailey Hitchcock, Kent Hitchcock, Kinsley Hitchcock, CathLynn Smith, Cheyanne Smith, Jaylee Smith.

Diane graduated from Piqua Catholic High School. She was a member of Covington Am Vets Post #66, Covington Fraternal Order of Eagles #3998, Covington. Diane was a loving homemaker. For the past eight years, Diane worked at Remax Finest in Piqua.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2016, at 1:30 p.m. at Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home, Piqua, with Chaplain Mark Meyer officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, Piqua.
