Kelm, DianeDiane M Kelm, age 72, of Berlin passed away at Juliette Manor late Saturday night, August 26, 2017 with her husband by her side. She was born on June 28, 1945 in Cleveland, Ohio a daughter of Floyd and Alice (Smith) Hartshorn. In June 1968, she married Charles Kelm at St. Margaret Mary Church in Milwaukee, WI. Diane loved children; she provided in home daycare for many years, helped with the Catholic School lunch program and volunteered at the Hospital Gift Shop. Diane was compassionate in caring for the elderly as well, devoted her time to the All Saints Church and the Berlin Senior Center organizing events and decorating the center. Most of all, she loved her husband of 49 years, her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and family. She made it a priority to put faith and family first. Together they raised seven beautiful children. To Diane, she believed her children were "on loan" to her by God and that her goal in life was to raise them as Christians to get them back to God someday in Heaven. Diane is survived by her children, Meri Kelm Lubinsky of Oshkosh, Andrew C.Kelm of Eldorado Hills, CA, Amy Eliacin of Highland Park, Ill., Sara Kelm of Chicago, Ill., Melanie Kelm Delaney of Hartland, WI., Debra Kelm of Berlin, WI., and Anthony Kelm of Richfield, MN; 10 grandchildren to include: Andrew A Kelm, Dylan and Drew Lubinsky, Brenna and Bremen Delaney, Taylor Reid Eliacin, Angelina and Brooke Eliacin, Jackson and Violet Kelm; a brother, Jay Hartshorn; and a sister, Mardie Moran. She is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Alice Hartshorn, her mother in law and father in law, Mary and George Kelm and her grandson, Damion Garza. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 1, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at All Saints Catholic Church of Berlin with Father David Greenfield officiating. Burial will follow in the Saint Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery of Berlin.Relatives and friends may visit and pay their respect to Diane and her family on Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 5-8:00 p.m. at the Wiecki-Skipchak Funeral Home of Berlin with a Parish Rosary to be recited at 7:30 p.m. and may also call at the Funeral Home on Friday, September 1st, from 9-10 a.m. before we leave for the services at the church.To view the tribute video, or for more information, please refer to [email protected] Funeral Home116.
