Diane Lyn StricklandPalm City, FLDiane Lyn (Lowery) Strickland of Palm City, age 57, died peacefully in her sleep on Friday November 5, 2016. Diane was born on June 13, 1959 in Boulder, Colorado. After attending high school in Beavercreek, OH, she graduated from The University of South Florida with a BS in 1981. She went on to earn a Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of San Francisco in 1994 and an LLM in taxation from McGeorge University in 1995. Diane had been licensed to practice law in California and Florida and volunteered in both jurisdictions to help the poor and disenfranchised throughout her career. She also served as a local guardian on a pro bono basis. She is survived by her brother David Lowery, her loving parents Marilyn and Fred Lowery of Sarasota., FL and many friends in CA. OH, V A and FL. Services will be held at a later date.
