Dillion James Dirks, 14, of Plymouth, died on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee following a lifelong heart disease.Dillion was born on October 29, 2004 in Sheboygan, the son of Troy Dirks and Jennifer (DeBlaey) Dirks. He recently completed 8th grade at Riverview School in Plymouth. Dillion attended Word of Grace Community Church in Sheboygan Falls. He enjoyed fishing, video games, disc golf, reading, music, singing, playing drums, Harry Potter and Star Wars, the Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin Badgers and Milwaukee Brewers. Dillion was very affectionate and demonstrated his love with many hugs for his family and friends. Dillion is survived by his parents, Troy Dirks of Sheboygan and Jennifer (Todd Genske) Dirks of Plymouth; three sisters, Lisa (fiancé Zach) Dirks of Sheboygan, Jessica (Brian) Zamora, Cassandra Dirks of Plymouth; two brothers, Mike (friend Alexis) Dirks of Green Bay and Carl (Sondra) Marshie of Waupun; grandparents, Emma Dirks of Sheboygan, Patty DeBlaey of Sheboygan, Frank Ohm of Sheboygan, and Mark DeBlaey of Sheboygan; one nephew, Jackson Wright; and one uncle, Steve DeBlaey of Sheboygan.Dillion was preceded in death by his grandfather, Stanley Dirks; and great grandparents, Lloyd and Harriet Debbink, Don and Gloria DeBlaey, Elmer and Esther Rolloff and Henry and Edna Schmall.A funeral to celebrate Dillion's life will take place at the Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg on Monday, June 26, 2017 at 6 pm.
