Dimitri J. Delgado, aged 79, passed away on October 28, 2024, in Clearwater, Florida. Born on February 26, 1945, Dimitri lived a life marked by dedication to his family.
A beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle, Dimitri was known for his loving, passionate, and strong-willed nature. His greatest joy was his family, with whom he loved to spend time, especially his grandchildren. Each moment together was treasured, from the simplest gatherings to milestone celebrations. As a grandfather, Dimitri was deeply involved and endlessly proud, always cheering on his grandchildren in every endeavor, whether big or small. His love, laughter and guidance created memories that will forever live on in the hearts of his family.
Dimitri was a self-employed business owner whose dedication to his work was evident in every aspect of his life. His independent spirit and tenacity were core to his identity, and he poured not only his energy but also his heart into his business. Every challenge he faced only fueled his determination to succeed, and he took pride in building something entirely on his own.
An avid outdoorsman, Dimitri enjoyed fishing, hunting, and skiing, hobbies that allowed him to appreciate nature and instill a love for the outdoors in his family.
Dimitri leaves behind a loving family: his wife, Jenny Delgado; children Demmy Delgado, Vanessa Delgado-Goncalves, Letisha Delgado, Jessalyn Williams, and Christopher Delgado; sons-in-law Scott Purcell, Russell Williams, and Al Goncalves; and grandchildren Tristan, Tyler, Tobias Tarasuik, Ava, Grayson Purcell, Olivia, Emma Williams, and Daiden Delgado. He is also survived by his sister, Lody Hernandez, and nieces and nephew Giselle Zamago, Armando, and Patty Hernandez.
Dimitri's absence leaves a profound void, and he will be greatly missed by all those who loved him.
