ARLINGTON HEIGHTS - Dimitria "Marge" M. Pantazelos was born on April 25, 1924 in Monessen, Pennsylvania to Steve and Stamatia (nee Mavrakis) Marnos. She died Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at the Lutheran Home in Arlington Heights, Illinois. Marge worked for and retired from Appetizer's Inc. She was an avid reader and a die-hard Cubs fan, she also enjoyed volunteering at the Lutheran Home. Marge is survived by her children, Sandra (George) Dickerson and James (Marlene) Pantazelos; her grandson, Jeff (Caitlin) Dickerson; her great-grandson, Parker Dickerson; her sister, Eva (the late Nick) Munger; and sisters-in-law, Pota Pantazelos, Flora Marnos and Nancy Marnos; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Pantazelos; her brothers, Stephen and James Marnos; and her parents. Visitation from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Monday, December 19, 2016 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd. (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.), Arlington Heights, Illinois, where a funeral service will be held at 9:30 am, Tuesday, December 20, 2016. Interment at Elmwood Cemetery.
