Lynch, DoloresDolores Ann Lynch, age 75, died on November 4, 2017. She was born on March 12, 1942 in Beaver Dam, WI to Alois and Vera (Schultz) Flasch. She grew up on a farm in the town of Clyman, near Juneau WI. In 1960 she graduated with honors from Juneau High school and then attended Oshkosh State College for two years where she met her husband Daniel. They were married November 24, 1962. They had four children Shawn, Gregory, Laura and Sarah. Dolores loved being a Mom and having a part time career. Over the years she worked at both Miles Kimball and United Cerebral Palsy. Finally, working as campaign clerk for United Way of Oshkosh for about 8 years where she retired in 1996.Dolores enjoyed books, her garden, pet hamsters and guinea pigs, and the birds that came to her patio, especially the cardinals. Her love of books led her to work in the library while in high school and college, and volunteer in the library at Franklin Elementary school from 1979-1985. Dolores was a member of St. Raphael's parish. She loved singing and playing guitar with the guitar group over the years. She also enjoyed being a member of the women's spirituality group. Her faith and family were the focal points of her life.Her memory will be cherished by her husband of almost 55 years, Daniel O. Lynch, daughter Sarah (Andrew) Olson of Cross Plains, son-in-law, Roger Hinze, daughter-in-law, Susan Landers-Lynch, grandchildren Ian Hinze, Calista Hinze, Savannah Olson and Alexandra Olson. She is also survived by her brothers, David (Sue) Flasch and Robert (Carla)Flasch, sister, Barbara (Andre) Zuehls and by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Dolores is preceded in death by her parents, Alois Flasch and Vera Flasch; sons, Shawn Lynch and Gregory Lynch; and daughter, Laura Hinze. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Dolores on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church, 830 S. Westhaven Drive in Oshkosh with the Reverend Fr. Tom Long as celebrant. A time of visitation and support will be held for the Lynch Family from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m at the church. Burial will be in St. Isadore Catholic Cemetery in Clyman, WisconsinIn lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Shawn Lynch, Gregory Lynch and Laura Hinze Memorial Scholarship Fund through the UW Oshkosh Foundation, 625 Pearl Avenue, Oshkosh Wisconsin 54901.
