Don Ashley, lovingly known as "Big Don," passed away on June 17, 2024 in Kansas City, Missouri at the age of 59. He was born on February 5, 1965, and from that moment on, he brought joy and laughter to all who knew him.

Don was a devoted husband to his spouse, Rudy Ashley, whom he married Together, they raised a wonderful daughter, Crystal, who brought immense pride and happiness into their lives. Don was also blessed with two beautiful grandchildren who adored their "Pops" more than words can express.

Throughout his life, Don had a passion for cooking and grilling, much to the delight of his friends and family. He could always be found hosting gatherings and BBQs, where he would entertain with his charismatic personality and delicious food.

Don had a heart as big as his smile and a sense of humor that could light up any room. His presence will be deeply missed, but the memories of his laughter and love will forever remain in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know him.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to cancer research in Don's honor.
