Davison, Don E. 88, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2015, in Wichita. Don was born on January 16, 1927, in Butler County, Kansas, the son of Victor Earl and Crystal (Wilson) Davison. Don served in the United States Army during
World War II. Don received a Bachelor's degree from Wichita University and his master's degree from Emporia Teachers College. Don started his teaching and coaching career in 1942, and retired from Jardine Middle School, Wichita, in 1985. After retiring from his teaching career Don worked at Clapp Golf Course on the grounds crew. Don was a member of Eastminster Presbyterian Church in Wichita. He enjoyed golfing and spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Max, Gene and Kent Davison; granddaughter, Allison Love. Survivors include his loving wife, Nancy of Wichita; children, Rick (Debbie) Davison of McPherson, KS, Jeff (Lynne) Love of Maryland, Linda (Woody) Woodward of Kansas City, MO, Brad (Lisa) Love of Leawood, KS; brothers, Jimmy, Larry (Shirley), Jerry (Virginia), Charles and Gary Davison; sisters, Faye (Tom) Neill, Kay (Keith) Hill; sister-in-law, Paulette Davison; grandchildren, Darci (Bryan) Weiser, Ryne (Sara) Davison, both of McPherson, Steven Love, Kelly (Alex) Roberts, Andrew Woodward, Zachary Love; 3 great-grandchildren, Paxton, Adelyn and Kali; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Don will be 10 a.m. on Friday, October 30, 2015, at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th St. N., Wichita. Inurnment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Wichita, Kansas.
