Donald J. Gluszek, Passed away on Saturday, August 18th 2023, at the age of 74.  Don was kind and loving. His life was filled with celebrations of family and friends. He was a Stationary Engineer by trade, a locksmith, an avid craftsman, and a car enthusiast who enjoyed woodworking and fine automobiles. In 2003 he met the love of his life, Barbara Miller; their lives were full of love, laughter, friends, and family. Don also enjoyed spending time with his loyal dogs, Gizmo and Hunter.  Don died peacefully with his beloved Barb and his family at his side. He is Preceded in death by his father, Benjamin Gluszek, his loving mother, Anne Gluszek (nee Lamaki), and his brothers Joseph Gluszek, and Robert Gluszek. Don is survived by his loving fiance,Barb; his sister, Roseanne Hendrickson (nee Gluszek); his children, Darcy, April, and Dana Eatman (Gilbert); adoring grandchildren, Ashley, Jaylan, Ariana, Kylie, Jimmy, Alivia, and Kevin Jr. and Great-Granddaughter, Kehlani George along with many nieces and nephews.As it was Don’s request, Cremation Rites have been accorded. The Catholic Mass will be at Queen of Martyrs Church, in Evergreen Park, on August, 22nd at 10:00 AM. Christian burial will be private. Don Gluszek was a remarkable man loved by everyone who knew him. His unwavering love for his family and friends is an inspiration to all of us. Don devoted his life to his family and will always be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.
