Don M. Wilson Don M. Wilson, age 58, formerly of Akron, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2016, at his residence in North Carolina where he resided for the last 15+ years.He was born on November 7, 1957, in Akron, Ohio, to Donald and Carol Wilson. He graduated from St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in 1977. Don worked for many years as a Bail Bondsman and Security Guard. He enjoyed working out and while he loved all sports, he especially enjoyed watching the Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians.Don is survived by his son, Jacob Wilson; his mother, Carol Wilson; sisters, Lena Wilson Grubbs (John), Carolyn Wilson, and Barb Wilson Fragiskatos (Mike); nieces, Rachel (Jason) Greer, and Christina Fragiskatos (Richard); nephews, Alex and Nick Fragiskatos; Jacob's mother, Rae Jean; special friends, Kim Smith, Chris and Heather D'Augusta, and a host of other family and friends, especially those at Figure Eight Island where he was employed for the last 10 years.Don was preceded in death by his father, Donald D. Wilson, and his son, Michael S. Wilson.A service to celebrate Don's life will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2016, at Ciriello & Carr Funeral Home, 39 S. Miller Rd., Fairlawn, Ohio 44333. Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
