Don was born on July 1, 1933 in Fort Worth, Texas. He served as a Deacon of First Presbyterian Church of Orlando and a volunteer in the Chaplain's Dept. of Florida Hospital South. Don was preceded in death by his parents, Carlton and Elsie Barnhart; and his brother, Clifton Barnhart. He is survived by his wife of 30yrs, Debra Barnhart; His Texas family: son, Donald L. Barnhart Jr. (Linda); son, John W. Barnhart (Sherri); four grandchildren, Justin Barnhart (Ashley); Megan Carlson (Tim); Faye Plost (Brandon); Donald L. Barnhart III; and his great grandson, Noah Carlson. Don is survived also by his Florida family; step-son, Bryan Berend; step-daughter, Misty Hunt, son-in-law Shane Hunt; and his step-grandchildren, Ethan and Ashley Hunt.
