Donald C. PerryBEAVERCREEK: Donald C. Perry, 97 of Beavercreek, Ohio formerly of Belleville Ohio, passed away late June 15, 2017 after an extended illness. He was born on June 12, 1920 in Appleton, Minnesota to Joseph and Gunda Perry and moved to Mansfield when he was a child. He attended Madison High School and served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the glider unit and as a radio operator. After military service he was employed a Westinghouse for 38 years when he retired in 1978 and worked for Purolator Courier Service for 7 years. He married Lona Fay Au February 18, 1950, who still survives him and had four sons who also survive him. He was a farmer for 14 years in Fredericktown area until retiring from Westinghouse. He was preceded in death by Sisters Helen Blecharz and her husband Mike Blecharz, Sister Gladys Sheriff and her husband Russell Sheriff, Brother in-law Clinton Dill, and parents Joseph and Gunda Perry.Donald is survived by his wife and companion Lona Perry, Sister Jean Dill, Sons, Donald (Karen) Perry, Monty Perry, Brad Perry (Amanda), Scott Perry (Patti), Georgetta Au and Kathy Perry along with many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
