Donald M. FrameCHANDLERSVILLE: Donald (Donnie) M. Frame, 83 of Chandlersville went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 surrounded by his loving wife and two daughters at his home.Donald was born on September 24, 1931 in Morgan County. He is the son of the late Cecil R and Margaret (Mahon) Frame. He served his country in the US Army for two years during the
Korean Conflict. After returning from the service Donald worked for the Ohio Division of Forestry for 42 years, after his retirement he worked for Jim Everett Auction for several years. During all of those years he farmed and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a faithful member of the Rural Dale United Methodist Church.Donald is survived by his wife of 59 years, Garnett F. (Wilson) Frame whom he married June 1, 1955; his two daughters, Mary Ann (Jeff) Dutro of Zanesville and Wanda (Jim) Wolfe of East Palestine, OH; his grandchildren, Andrea (Matt) Easly of Raleigh, NC, Matt Dutro of Zanesville and Scott Wolfe of East Palestine; his great-grandson Joseph Easly; his brother, Jerry (Carol) Frame of Blue Rock; his sister, Ada Frame of Zanesville; his brothers-in-law, Donald Wilson and Robert (Zampa) Wilson of Blue Rock; several nieces, nephews, very special friends and his beloved dog Duke.In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Howard Wilson; and his sisters-in-law Marjorie Wilson and Mary Lou Wilson.The Frame family would like to thank Genesis Home Health, Genesis Hospice and the many friends and neighbors for their compassionate care. You all know who you are and what a difference you have made!Memorial contributions may be made in Donald's name to either Genesis Hospice, 713 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, OH 43701 or to Rural Dale United Methodist Church, 9120 Rural Dale Road, Blue Rock, OH 43720.Visitations will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Friday, January 9, 2015 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls where funeral services will be 1 pm Saturday with Rev. Karen Osborn officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Duncan Falls Cemetery with full Military Honors provided by George Selsam Post #1058.
