Donald F. HannaFuneral services for Donald Franklin Hanna will be held Friday, February 3, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at Oakmont Church of God in Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held Thursday, February 2, 2017, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Following the service, Mr. Hanna will be laid to rest in Centuries Memorial Park. Pastor James Hanks with be officiating the service.Donald was born on March 17, 1936 in LeFlore County, Oklahoma to Elmer Hanna and Artie Myers Hanna. He worked for 45 years for Kansas City Southern Railroad. He was an active member and Sunday school teacher at Oakmont Church of God and had been a leader in the Royal Rangers at Glad Tidings Assembly of God for many years. He passed away at the age of 80 on Monday, January 30, 2017. All who knew and loved him will dearly miss him.He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Thelma Hanna; His son, Douglas Hanna with wife Sonya; His daughter Melinda Owen; and A brother, Rev. Charles Hanna.In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by four sisters, Patsy Smith, Janice Depew, Loretta Elmore, and Norma Jean Lewis.
