Donald C. Jensen, Sr.LANCASTER: Donald C. Jensen, Sr., age 80, of Lancaster was called home, January 24th, 2017 at Select Specialty Hospital. He was born on March 13th, 1936 to the late Walter C. and Ruth Little Jensen. He was a member of the Lutheran Church of Our Savior. He retired after 36 years at G.M. in Columbus as a journeyman tool and die maker. He was a member of the UAW Local 969 retirees chapter. Donald was a beloved husband and father, who enjoyed life, and will be greatly missed.He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Melinda Jensen; children, Kathi Jensen, Donald C. (Patti) Jensen Jr., Patricia (Lee) Mault, Kirk Jensen, Amy (Jim Ackerman) Jensen, and Amy (Eric) Crabtree; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Carole (Jim) Johnson, Judi (Gary) Gearhart, and Chris (Karen) Jensen; and numerous nieces and nephews .Donald was preceded in death by his parents; first love, Margaret Jensen; granddaughter, Candace Belcher; and brother-in-law, Redis Imboden.A funeral service will take place on Monday, January 30th at 11AM at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 1PM until 4 PM at the funeral home. Caring Cremation™ will follow the service.
