Donald Johnson Sr., of Chicago Illinois, passed away on February 24, 2024, at the age of 62. He was born on July 5, 1961, to James Johnson and Caralyn Conely-Johnson in Chicago, Mississippi.

Donald married his beloved wife, Evelyn Carter-Johnson, in 2011, and they were blessed with two daughters: Donrea and Doja Johnson. He also has three sons Donald Johnson Jr., Tyreek, and Dontrell Johnson. He was a devoted father who adored by his children and took great pride in being a role model for them.

Donald also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, whom he loved dearly.

After graduating from North Chicago High School, Donald began working at Kohler Engines. He dedicated many years to his career and retired in 2018 and returned back to Chicago to be closer to his family.

Donald had a passion for fishing, hunting, and spending quality time with his family. He was known for his kind heart, infectious laughter, and willingness to help others in need.

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. May he rest in peace.
