DENISTONDonald L.Donald L. Deniston, age 79, of Adrian, passed away October 31, 2016, at his home under the care of his family and Hospice of Lenawee. Donald was born on May 11, 1937, in Adrian to Thomas and Dorothy (Wonder) Deniston. He attended various grade schools throughout the Toledo area before moving to Adrian. On December 4, 1964, he married Kathleen Krueger and she survives. He was employed by Brazeway for 38 years. Donald was a huge sports fan. He loved U of M, Tigers and Lions. He enjoyed astronomy, computers, photography, jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles, loved animals and his John Deere Tractor. He had a love for classic cars and was a member of the Good Guys Rod and Custom Association, which helped him to own and restore a variety of classic cars himself throughout the years. He enjoyed the U.P. especially St. Ignace and was a good customer of Amazon.com. Donald served his country in the United States Army during the Berlin Crisis and was proud to be part of the Big Red One. In addition to his wife, Kathleen, Donald is survived by three sons, Donald (Linda) Deniston of Howell, Daniel (Kathy) Deniston of Garland, TX and Patrick (Michelle) Deniston of Adrian; his beloved dog, Barney; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and half-brother, Neal Stannard. A Memorial Service for Donald will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lenawee or to the Lenawee Humane Society. Envelopes are available at Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian.
