Lemke, Donald LawrenceDonald Lawrence Lemke, 73, of Marathon, passed away at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, on Wednesday, January 11, 2017. He was born on July 10, 1943 to the late Lawrence and Myrtle (Fenner) Lemke in WausauHe loved the outdoors, hunting out west, prospecting, making and creating jewelry, but most of all spending time at his cabin in Montana. He knew everything about machining and loved working with his hands. He started and owned Lemke Industrial Machine in 1973. He married Patricia Steller on September 2, 2015 at the continental divide in Montana. Donald was a devoted father and grandfather and was a great friend to all that knew him. He had a smile and laugh that would light up a room. Donald is survived by his wife, Patti Lemke, son, Brad (Kris) Lemke, daughter-in-law, Jennifer (Ben) Creske, grandchildren, Tyler, Justin & Olivia Lemke. Also by his step children, Jeff (Tammy) Steller and Jenny Steller and her daughter Mya. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Mary (Redlin) Lemke and son, David Lemke. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 14th, 2017 at 12:00 noon at Covenant Community Presbyterian Church, 1806 Weston Avenue, Schofield, WI 54476. Visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Wausau Area Mobile Meals, 609 Scott St # 2, Wausau, WI 54403.
