Donald "Mike" Lipscomb, 64MUNCIE - Donald "Mike" Lipscomb, 64, passed away Saturday morning, December 31, 2016 at the Indiana University Ball Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. He was born on March 29, 1952 in Muncie the son of Marian "Pat" and Georgia (Potter) Lipscomb.Mike is a 1970 graduate of Muncie Southside High School and later married the love of his life, Juvia (Richards) Lipscomb on January 2, 1981 in Muncie and she survives.  Mr. Lipscomb had worked for Marsh Supermarket Stores for twenty-five years as a Stocker and most recently for the Wal-Mart Department Store North as a Stocker prior to his illness.  He had attended the New Day Baptist Church and enjoyed sports, following the Pacers, Colts, and Cubs.  Mike also enjoyed singing.Besides her wife of thirty-six years, Juvia, he is survived by one daughter, Jenny Kerrigan, Muncie; one son, Neal Lipscomb (wife, Michelle), Muncie; three grandchildren, Teaira and Ryan Kerrigan and Aubrey Maxwell all of Muncie; one sister, Nina Scamihorn, Muncie; two brothers, Charlie Lipscomb, New castle and Rick Lipscomb, New  York; several nieces and nephews; a special aunt who was like a second mother to him, Joyce Kinker (husband, Frank), Memphis, Tennessee.He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Jackie Neeley.Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon, January 5, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Parson Mortuary with Pastor Dale Trego officiating.  Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery north of Muncie.Friends may call at the Parson Mortuary on Thursday, January 5, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until service time.Memorial contributions may be made to Ball Memorial Hospital Cancer Center c/o the Ball Memorial Foundation 2401 W.
