Donald Phalstaf passed away at home unexpectedly January 4th, 2019. Don grew up in East Hartford CT. Don lived many years in Coventry CT and most recently lived in Ellington CT. He had a love for science fiction, comic books, computers and reading. Don's greatest joy came with the birth of his daughter: Cecelia (Cece) and spent several years as a stay-at-home Dad. He will be missed.

Don was currently employed at Dymotek in Ellington CT and previously at the J.C. Penny distribution center.

He was predeceased by his father Anthony Stoppa and mother Phyllis (Pat) Phalstaf.  He is survived by his daughter Cecelia Phalstaf, brothers: Robert Phalstaf, James Phalstaf, Raymond Phalstaf, David Phalstaf, Anthony Phalstaf and in-laws: Susan Phalstaf, Lisa Civitello Phalstaf, Stephen Colombo, nieces: Mary Phalstaf, Christine Godfrey, nephew Robert Phalstaf Jr., great nieces and nephew and close friends.

An open memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019 10:30 AM - 1:30 PM at the Industrial Aircraft Lodge, 357 Main St. East Hartford Ct, 06118.  The post-reception will be a private invite only event.
