Donald "Ray" McKinney1952 - 2016Donald "Ray" McKinney, 63, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 10, 2016, at Condell Medical Center. Ray was born on July 1, 1952, in Moline, Ill., to Donald and Mary McKinney. He was educated in Illinois and served in the US Army. He graduated from Northwestern University's Prosthetic and Orthotic Program.Ray owned and operated McKinney Prosthetics and more recently Paramount Prosthetics. Ray was known throughout his career as a leader in the industry. Ray was a Cubs fan and an avid golfer. Ray was a truly remarkable man and he touched many hearts.Ray was the loving father of Melissa and Michael (Chelsea) McKinney of Kenosha. He was the best Papa to Mikayla, Jaylen, Declan, Jackie, and Hannah. He is further survived by his sisters, Judy and Theresa; sister-in-law Cindy; his nieces and nephews, as well as numerous friends and family.Ray was proceeded in death by his parents and brother, Michael.Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 N. Cemetery Road, Gurnee, IL., 60031, with services starting at 5 p.m.In lieu of flowers, donations to the are appreciated.
