This obituary is administered by:
Mondloch, DonaldDonald "Don" H. Mondloch, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2017 with his loving wife Judy by his side. He was 65 years old. Don was born on April 9, 1952 in Port Washington, Wisconsin to Herbert and Dolores (nee Dimmer) Mondloch. Don was a 1970 graduate of Random Lake High School. He later went on to pursue a career as a Lineman / troubleshooter. Don was a dedicated employee of We Energies (formerly Wisconsin Electric) Union IBEW 2150 for 46 proud years. Throughout his time with the company he made lasting friendships with those he considered his brothers. He was a meticulous man and was very truly passionate about his job and loved going to work. His strong work ethic was found at work and outside of work as he designed and built his house in the woods and spent countless hours helping his twin brother Dan with his masonry work. He treasured every moment in life and found pleasure tending to his crops and machinery on his hobby farm in the town of Fredonia. A special memory Judy will hold close to her heart is the time spent on the combine with Don during soy bean season. He also found peace in nature and looked forward to his time spent in his deer stand on his property. Don and Judy enjoyed watching the turkeys and deer from their house in the woods. They recently celebrated their 19-year anniversary on October 10th of this year. Over the years Don and Judy enjoyed various trips to Hawaii, South Dakota, South Carolina and Door County. Don valued his time spent at the Saturday breakfasts in Saukville with friends and would often continue visiting with his twin brother Dan and sister Jan while enjoying a cup of hot chocolate. They would then visit mom. He was a loving husband and deeply loved his family and friends. Don lived a great life and will be remembered for his sense of humor, being a true helper at heart who never said no and for his exceptional gift wrapping skills. Don is survived by his caring wife Judy, mother Dolores Moegenburg, brothers Dan (Kim) Mondloch, Roger Mondloch, sister Jan (Fred) Glander, mother-in-law Frankie Fechter, brother-in-law Alois (Pam) Fechter, sisters-in-law Sandy (Scott) Tutas, Bonnie (Dale) Gray. He is further survived and loved by nieces, nephews and other relatives and countless cherished friends. Don is preceded in death by his father Herbert Mondloch, father-in-law Al Fechter Jr., and his canine companion Rexie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Parish 1619 Washington Street Grafton, Wisconsin 53024 at 6:00 PM.
