Myers, Donald "Don"Donald "Don" P. Myers, 75, of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, December 6, 2016, at the St. Francis Home.He was born on December 24, 1940, in Escanaba, Michigan, a son of Mose and Dorothy Schils Myers.Don served with the United States Coast Guard.On September 1, 1961, he married Jaylee A. Wright in Escanaba, Michigan.Don worked for the California Can Growers, Fond du Lac, Carnation Can Division, Menomonee Falls, Smit Stone Box Company, Germantown, and Walmart in Florida and Fond du Lac. He was an avid Packer fan, Detroit Red Wings fan, and enjoyed the Olympics.He is survived by his wife, Jaylee; a son, Paul E. (Kelly) Myers of Williams, Minnesota; a sister, Marilyn Saari of Jackson, Michigan; three brothers: Duane (Christine) Myers of Green Bay, twins: Dan (Lois) Myers of Escanaba, and Dave Myers; nieces and nephews: Brian, Lisa, Melonie, Amara, and Caitlyn.He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, James (Donna) Myers; a sister, Dorothy; and a sister-in-law, Patricia.VISITATION: The visitation will be from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2016, at Kurki-Mach Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 31 East Division Street, Fond du Lac.SERVICE: The funeral service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday at Kurki-Mach Funeral Chapel & Crematory with Chaplain Amy Golm officiating.Cremation will follow the traditional service.Kurki-Mach Funeral Chapel & Crematory is serving the family, www.kurkimachfuneralchapel.com. 920-921-4420In lieu of flowers, family donations appreciated.
