Donald G. Norton1935 - 2014Donald G. Norton, 78, of Pleasant Prairie, died Thursday April 17, 2014, at his home, with his loving family around him. He was born on Nov. 1, 1935, in Kenosha, the son of the late, Allen and Martha (Niemela) Norton. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha. He married Stella Metallo on Dec. 27, 1977, in Kenosha. He worked at Johnson Motors in Waukegan, Ill. for 30 years, American Motors and Highland Construction. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1954-1958 and received a Defense Medal. His hobbies were fishing, hunting, and being outdoors.Survivors include a son, James Swaney Sr. of Sharon, Wis.; two daughters, Trisha (Robby) Avery of Kenosha, and Kathy (Robert) Llewellyn of Clinton, Wis., 11 grandchildren Cameron Kevin (Alexis) Foster, Lawrence Starks Jr., Adrianne Starks, Vincent Ventura, Joseph (Oahn) Llewellyn, James (Violet) Swaney Jr., Angela (Tony) Serechia, Megan (Nick) Tislau, Ben (Jerrica) Llewellyn, Jarvis Avery, and Jasmene Avery, 18 great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Stella; three brothers Allen, John, and Joseph Norton, and two great grand children Dru DAngelo Foster and Alexis Makayla Foster.A greeting time with the family will be from 12 noon until 1 p.m. on Friday April 25, 2014, at Kenosha Funeral Services with a memorial service to follow at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Green Ridge Cemetery.Kenosha Funeral Services and Crematory8226-Sheridan Rd.
