ALBION — Donald W. Remley, 84, of Albion died on Tuesday, May 12, 2015, at Avalon Village Nursing Home in Ligonier. Mr. Remley was a salesman with Allied Chemical and later Frick Services, retiring in 1996. He was a graduate of Purdue University and a U.S. Army veteran. Mr. Remley moved to the area from Kalamazoo, Michigan, in 1993. He was born on January 14, 1931, in Dallas, Texas, to Wayne and Gladys (Dickerhoff) Remley. They preceded him in death. Surviving are three sons, Jeffrey Remley of Grattan, Michigan, Rick (Deb) Zollars of Ligonier, and Bill (Kathy) Zollars of Bay City, Michigan; three daughters, Lizabeth Lewis of Caledonia, Michigan, Andrea (Thor) Johnson of Ann Arbor, Michigan, and Beth (Wayne) Lewis of Wolcottville; 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a great-great- grandchild. He was also preceded in death by his wives, Ruth (Zollars) Remley in 2004 and Janet Remley Martin in 2009; two daughters, Jacqueline Thompson in 2009 and Deb Killian in 2011. Funeral service is at 11 a.m. Saturday at Brazzell Funeral Homes, Albion Chapel, 771 Trail Ridge Road. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
