Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM Sykes Funeral Home . Donald passed away on Friday, May 12, 2017 at St. Thomas West Hospital. He was born on Feb 04, 1933 in Clevland, OH to Donald and Helen Richardson. Donald retired from the U.S. Army after 30 years of service, where he received many awards and medals. He completed two tours in Vietnam and a tour in Korea. During his service he was the 1st Chief Ward Master of Blanchfield Army Community Hospital. After his retirement he went on to serve 15 years in Civil Service. He was also a Greeter at the Ft. Campbell Wal-Mart.In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Richardson, and a daughter Bridgitte Munoz. He is survived by his sons, Roger Richardson, Charles Richardson, Donald Richardson, Jr., and Richard Richardson, daughters; Ellen Bakos, Corolla Spence, Dorothy Richardson, Shirley Chandler, and Elizabeth King, and 14 grandchildren
