Donna Kramer, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at the Avera McKennan Heart Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. 

Born October 5th, 1946 to Garriet and Jennie Funk in Osceola County, Iowa.

Donna graduated from Fulda high school and then attended Junior College in Worthington, MN.

She worked several jobs, one being the Manager of the Okoboji and Sibley,Iowa Pizza Huts. her most recent, working at Shopko Opitical as and Optician where she earned her AOBC Certified Optician in 2001. She enjoyed her time at Shopko making new friends and always ready with a Smile and a little time to chat. When Shopko closed she retired, giving her time to work on her garden, that is quite magnificeint, and spending time with her family and friends.

Donna was a wonderful and caring grandmother of three grandsons. Some of their favorite memories include changing her facebook picture without her knowing, baking, going out to eat and riding in the beloved GMC Jimmy. She always took the time to go every event, calling and learning facebook to keep in daily contact with her grandsons.

Donna is survived by her son Richard & Jacquelyn Kramer, Worthington, Minnesota, Grandsons Nicholas & Kara Kramer, Worthington,Minnesota, Cody & Myra Kramer, Mankato, Minnesota , Colton Kramer, Mankato, Minnesota. Granddaughter McKenna Kramer, Worthington, Minnesota, Siblings Conroy & (Verla) Johnson, Spirit Lake, Iowa, Harald Funk, Lake Park, Iowa. Many nieces and nephews, and many, many close friends who have made her life a joy.

She was preceeded in death by ther parents Garriet and Jennie Funk and Sister Gracie Lacour.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the Benson Funeral Home in Worthington, MN.

A Private Ceremony and Burial will be held at a later date in Harris, IA.
Benson Funeral Home in Worthington is in charge of the arrangements.
