Donna Jean Cook Leake, 88, Lebanon, passed away Thursday, Oct. 27, 2016 at St. Joseph Hospital East in Lexington.She was born on Oct. 25, 1928 in Akron, Ohio. She was an organist and a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. She was the devoted organist at St. Francis Xavier Church in Raywick for 62 years.She was preceded in death by: her husband, Bernard Ambrose Leake; her parents, John Cecil Cook and Bonnie Hazel Richardson; a daughter, Dona Michelle Mack and her deceased husband, Ronald; and two sons, Vaughn Bernard (Kim) Leake and Robert David Leake.Survivors include: two sons, John Cook (Renaté) Leake of Canfield, Ohio and Joseph Cecil Leake (wife, Cathy, deceased) of Bardstown; four daughters, Hazel Bernadette (Michael) McDonough of Naples, Florida, Mary Beth (Mike) Madden of Berea, Gloria Jean (Bill) Luttman and Sarah Lou (Tom) Bell, all of Naples, Florida; a sister, Juanita Abell of Lebanon, numerous beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1, at St. Augustine Catholic Church, with interment in St. Francis Xavier Church Cemetery, Raywick.Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31, at Bosley Funeral Home, Lebanon, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.. Deacon Joe Dant will officiate.Pallbearers are Wayne Abell, Jude Leake, Anthony Hudson, David McDonough, Ashley Madden, and Chris Hudson.Bosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
