We mourn the loss of Donna Jean O'Brien, who passed away on May 11, 2024, in Mission Viejo, California, United States.

Donna was born on December 27, 1947, to Eugene J. McNamara and Patricia L.(Gannon) McNamara. She was the beloved wife of Dennis J. O'Brien, with whom she was married for 58 years.

Donna leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to her family.

She is survived by her husband, her four children: Todd (Las), Thad (Patty), Toby (Jill), and Trish (Alex). She was a cherished grandmother to 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her two sisters, Lyn (Rick) Olsen of Rockford, IL. and Margo (Leonard) Chattic of Montgomery, IL. and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, mother-in-law, father-in-law and brother in infancy.

Donna attended Dixon, IL schools and graduated from Newman Central Catholic High School in 1966. She later worked as a Nail Technician until her retirement in 2008.

She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, unwavering love for her family and devotion to her church. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
