Dallesasse, 75, of Batavia, IL, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital in Geneva, IL. She was born on December 30, 1940 in Aurora, IL, the daughter of Louis P. and Angeline (Miller) Greviskes.Donna was married to Jim for 48 years, and has been widowed since 2008. Her family was most important to her. Donna was very supportive and made many sacrifices during her children's growing up years. She volunteered her time and talents at the Old Holy Cross Church and School. Donna and Jim put together the Parish Show and Dinner, which was an annual fundraiser for many years. She was chairman of the Sesquicentennial Cookbook Committee in Batavia. Donna was involved in many civic duties including Batavia Park Board Commissioner, Executive Director of Batavia Chamber of Commerce, The Depot Museum, and The Batavia Public Library. She had the unique gift of not accepting "No" when she asked you to volunteer. Donna loved a good project, traveling the world with family, and photography. Even though she suffered through many physical adversities, she continued to walk downtown to see her friends at Panera until the very end.She is survived by one son, Michael S. (Robin) Dallesasse of DeKalb, IL; one daughter, Theresa (Jim) Pohorsky of Batavia, IL; three brothers, Paul (Angie) Greviskes of Aurora, IL, Dave (Linda) Greviskes of Batavia, IL and Joe (Candy) Greviskes of Batavia, IL; one sister, Cynthia (John) Eddy of Elburn, IL; five grandchildren, Laura (Frank) Cucitro of Batavia, IL, Benjamin (Cara) Dallesasse of DeKalb, IL, Nicholas Pohorsky, Charles Pohorsky, and Matthew Pohorsky, all of Batavia, IL; two great-grandchildren, Adeline Cucitro and Ellie Cucitro. Donna is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Dallesasse; brother, Donald "Skip" Greviskes.A visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, September 2, 2016 at Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 S. Batavia Avenue, Batavia, IL. Funeral services will begin at the funeral home with prayers at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 3, 2016 before proceeding to Holy Cross Catholic Church to celebrate a funeral Mass at 10:30 AM.
