Donna Sue Nichols passed away Monday August 5th, 2019 at St Marys Hospital, Decatur, IL surrounded by her family.

Donna was born April 12th, 1956 in Taylorville, IL to Richard and Bertha (Shanks) Nichols. She worked at Moweaqua Nursing and Retirement Center nearly 18 years and retired in 2009. She was an avid fan of WWE wrestling and watching scary movies and she loved her rock music, especially KISS and Steelheart. Donna loved her family and friends with her whole heart and soul. There is nothing she wouldn't do for them, and her world revolved around her grandchildren. 

Donna is survived by her daughter, Amanda and favorite son-in-law, Josh Shuey of Moweaqua,  her twin sister, Diana Nichols of Bement, IL,  brother Lloyd Nichols and wife Cyndi of Moweaqua, IL and brother Steve Shanks of Jonesboro, IL. Nephews Ryan, Wes, Devon and Thomas and niece, Lauren. Grandchildren Andrew, Jaxon, Katelynn, Brandon, Travis and Cheyenne.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Her Celebration of Life is being held at First Baptist Church, Moweaqua IL on Thursday August 15th from 3-5pm with small service at 445pm. Dress is casual

Donna was a very special person and she will be missed by many.
