Donnie had a joyful spirit and was a loving parent to his three children, Aniyah Shields, Donnie Jr. Shields, and Maliah Shields. He was a dedicated employee at McDonald's, where he worked as a manager.

Donnie was a graduate of Patterson Park High School, where he made lasting friendships and cherished memories. He will be remembered for his kind heart, infectious laughter, and willingness to help others in need.
