Dontae Roane , 35 of Camden New Jersey  passed away on July 10, 2020 due to gun violence.

The funeral service will be held at 9:00 AM on July 13 2020 at Stanley's Memorial Chapel Funeral Home. Reverend Mike Jones of St. Anthony Church will be officiating. Visitation will be held at 3:00 PM on July 12, 2020 at St. Anthony Church. Burial will follow the funeral at City View Cemetery at 3:00 PM. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Stanley's Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.

Dontae was born in Camden New Jersey on September 17, 1985. He graduated from Camden Hills High School and continued on to receive his Plumbing Degree later on in life.

Dontae was in relations with Annette A. Smith (Williams) and have been since April of 2015.

Dontae worked as a Plumber at a local high school for more than 10 years. He enjoyed reading, going to the movies, playing and watching sports. He was also actively involved in teaching football for many years and was a dedicated member of the Camden Variety Club.

Dontae will be survived by his two children, Jack W. Roane and his girlfriend  Amy, and Josh Roane; his 2 grandchildren Adam and Bettina; his 2 brothers, Martin L. Roane and Ken B. Roane; his 2 sisters Donia S. Roane, and Lisa Roane, nieces and nephews; and the rest of his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to The family of Dontae Roane and all  wishes and appreciations are welcome.
