On August 17, 2024, Dorinda Melvin passed away in Paris, Tennessee at the age of 66. She was born on September 25, 1957, to parents Paul and Jean Matlock.

In 1989, Dorinda married Richard W Melvin, and together they raised six children: Derik, Brett, Khyle, Austin, Alex, and Tabitha Melvin.

Dorinda attended Whiteland High School and graduated in 1978. She was a dedicated wife, loving mother, and beloved member of the community.

Tragically, Dorinda's life was cut short due to a blood clot to the heart. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
