Doris Annette Haynes CrosbyDoris Annette Haynes Crosby was born on August 18, 1936 in Ellisville, MS to Eva McBride and John Travis Haynes, Sr. She peacefully stepped into Glory to be with her Lord on March 2, 2017 in her Bossier City, LA home, surrounded by her husband, children and family. The room was filled with grateful hearts…songs lifted in praise…and the knowledge that the angels rejoiced."A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies." She was a prayer warrior, Bible teacher, choir member…and encourager to all who knew her. Mrs. Crosby's ministry was her Lord's church…her husband…her children…her grandchildren and great-grandchildren."Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her." (Prov.31:28)Mrs. Crosby was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother. She is survived by her husband, Rev. Billy John Crosby, her children, Billy Scott Crosby and wife Misty, Stephen Haynes Crosby and wife Becca, Crystal Crosby Gray and husband Bill, Samuel Lee Crosby and wife Wendy, Stanton Travis Crosby and wife Bethany, and Starla Crosby Harbin and husband Russell; grandchildren, Kyle, Keleigh, Kasey, Karlie, April, Amanda, Addie, Brittany, Briana, Austin, Payton, Bailey, Tyler, Zachary, Samantha, Seth, Kendall, Christian, Crosby and Karis; 20 great-grandchildren; a brother, Thomas Mac Haynes and wife RaLeen; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, as well as a loving pet, Molly.
