Doris Carrollredding, CAIt is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Doris Jean Beasley-Carroll on November 22, 2016, from the effects of a stroke.Mom was born on July 15th, 1931 in Chicago, IL to Naomi Sweenton-Beasley and Henry Beasley. On April 12, 1949 she married, US Marine Corporal, Joe Carroll in San Diego, CA.In 1965 Joe & Doris moved to Redding, CA with their two daughters. It was in Redding where Mom continued her lifetime collecting friends. Mom was a homemaker 1st & in future years worked in retail at, "The Carriage House", "Dickers", "Boy Scouts of America", and "Costco".Mom's legacy in life is her faith in God, and her love for her family. She lived by the "Golden Rule". She believed in helping others, offering kindness to whomever she met. Mom touched many lives.Mom is survived by two daughters, Linda Carroll Ham; Naomi Carroll Tingey and dear son-in-law Steele Tingey; her grandchildren; Christopher Robison, Halee and Kyle Isitt, and Adam and Shana Tingey; her #7 precious great grandchildren who lovingly called her "GGD". Mom is also survived by her two sisters Mary Carroll Stringfield and Marilyn Beasley, and many nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved.
