Doris Edwards, born on August 8, 1974, in Augusta, Georgia, United States, passed away on April 10, 2025. She was the beloved child of Walter Geter Sr and Lorraine Henley.

Doris is survived by their two children, Linwood Edwards and Denisha Edwards. She also leave behind three adoring grandchildren. She leave behind 2 sisters, Tomika Geter and Leila Geter.

Doris attended Lucy Laney High School and went on to further their education at Augusta Tech. She were a dedicated student and a lifelong learner.

Doris will be remembered for her kind heart, her love for their family, and her passion for learning. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She wanted to donate her body to the science department at MCG. Memorial service will be Friday April 18, 2025 at Magnolia Cemetery in Augusta Ga. Any questions or concerns contact daughter Denisha at 7069102381. Their will be no viewing of the body day of memorial service. Last viewing will be Thursday April 17th, at MCG.
