Doris Gresham Doney, 94, of Abilene, formerly of Carlsbad, passed away Thursday August 17, 2017. Graveside service will be held Thursday August 24, 2017 at 10am at Carlsbad Cemetery in Carlsbad NM. Doris was born on August 3, 1923 in Carlsbad, NM to Ed and Caroline Marion. She was a member of First Methodist Church in Carlsbad, NM and moved to Abilene in 2013. She loved to sew, crochet and dance. Doris is survived by her husband Bob Doney of Abilene, daughter Debbie Partin, of Abilene, four grandchildren: Amanda Rau, Vic Partin, Doug Gresham and Dale Gresham and 6 great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her first husband Perry Gresham, a son Ron Gresham, brother, Don Marian and sister, Faye Perry.Arrangements are with Dove Funeral Home in Abilene, Texas.
