We are gathered here today to celebrate the life of Doris Glasper, who passed away on July 11, 2025, in Jackson, Mississippi. She was born on June 27, 1955, to her loving mother Ida Lee Codwell.

Doris is survived by her four children, Jerry Dixon, Percey Glasper, Angela Glasper, and Laquita Glasper. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren.

Doris worked at UMMC Hospital and retired in 2017. She was known for her love of baking cakes and bringing joy to those around her with her delicious creations.

Although we are saddened by her passing, we take comfort in knowing that Doris passed away peacefully from natural causes. Her warm smile and loving spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
